Hi, I'm Shawna! I am overjoyed to be opening Kaile'a and serving you amazing coffee! It will be the second coffee shop God birthed in me. I just love how God works and how this new vision came to life. It is my mission to love on people as well as to offer healthful options along with the naughty ones. The name Kaile'a (which beautifully lends itself so well to the menu that was downloaded into my spirit, full of yummy healthy acai bowls and superfood lattes) came about while I was on a trip to Maui after selling my shares in my first shop. Through that heartbreak of letting go, he spoke to me and said "Shawna, take my hand, and I'll lead you to the water." I've held on to those words so intently. I've come to realize "the water" was literal as well as figurative. God is living water. Full of freedom and joy! Anyhow, while I was in Maui he said "your next shop needs to contain the word Kai in it". Kai is the Hawaiian word for Sea/Water. So my mom and I started researching.. and there came the name Kaile'a - which means "Sea of Joy". I knew that was IT because the name completely brought me to tears. So here we are, a sea of joy of yummy fruits and full of the fruit of the spirit!!
